The St. Paul Saints took on the Winnipeg Goldeyes August 12-14 at CHS Field. While facing the Goldeyes, the Saints brought in 10,631 fans, creating a new single-game attendance record. Additionally, the dates mark the first time in Saints history to have back-to-back games with more than 10,000 fans in attendance.Â
After losing Monday’s game 8-0, the Saints came back 10-2 the following day and sealed the deal on August 14 with a 5-4 win. The Saints took their 10,000+ fans to a strong hold on the number two spot in the division.
