The competition continued during day 2 of X Games Minneapolis 2019 on Friday, August 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium. The events included Next X Skateboard Park, Next X Skateboard Street, Monster Energy Men’s Skateboard Street Elimination, Women’s Skateboard Park, Moto X QuarterPipe, The Real Cost BMX Big Air and Moto X Freestyle.

- Morgan Wade attempted to send a drop in over a ladder during Friday’s The Real Cost BMX Big Air event. Wade is a seasoned X Games athlete, having competed for the first time in X Games Los Angeles 2003.

- Australian athlete Harry Bink attemps the kiss of death during the Moto X Freestyle event. Bink took home 5th place.

- Misugu Okamoto competes in the Women’s Skateboard Park event. Okamoto took home the gold Friday evening.

- Colby Raha poses with his bronze metal from the Moto X QuarterPipe High Air event on Friday evening. Raha also won bronze Thursday, August 1 in the Moto X Step Up event.

- Mykel Larrin, Racine, Wisconsin native, watches the instant replay of his The Real Cost BMX Big Air run. Larrin landed a triple downside tailwhip that secured his fourth place victory.

- American skateborder Lizzie Armanto impresses in Women’s Skateboard Park. Armanto took Bronze in the event.

- Australian athlete Ryan Williams celebrates after his run in The Real Cost BMX Big Air event. Williams made X Games history by becoming the first athlete to ever backflip into a Big Air ramp at X Games Minneapolis 2019.

- Tyler Bereman celebrates winning silver in the Moto X QuarterPipe High Air event. Bereman took third in the event last year.

- Morgan Wade takes on The Real Cost BMX Big Air event. Wade’s double tailwhip drop in helped him score the silver medal.

- Australian athlete Rob Adelberg’s daring style earned him first place in the Moto X Freestyle event. Adelberg took home another gold medal earlier this year in the Snow Bike Best Trick event at X Games Aspen.

- 11-year-old Sky Brown competes in the Women’s Skateboard Park event. Brown appeared on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors in 2018 and was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Female Athlete this year.

- Rob Adelberg sets up a shaolin backflip during the Moto X Freestyle event. Adelberg is the first athlete in history to earn 5 X Games medals in one calendar year.
