Lead Monrovia Football Academy won its first Target USA CUP title on Saturday, July 20 at the National Sports Center. The team took on Michigan’s Vardar United FC in the U15 Girls Silver Division final. Over 1,000 spectators watched as Monrovia defeated Vardar United 3-2 in a shootout. Fans stormed the field following Liberia’s victory and celebrated with the team in Target Village.
