Kick or Treat, smell our cleats, thanks to all the bold athletes!

Another festive Kick or Treat came and went last weekend, with 86 teams competing in the tournament and 48 team submissions to the costume contest. This year, the Sports Hall transformed into the Spooky Hall with some novel decor, photo backdrops, and pumpkin painting outside. 

The 13U Girls Soccer Scouts from Esko, Minnesota won first place in the Costume Contest presented by our friends at Urban Air Adventure Park. The lucky troop scored a prize pack from Urban Air Coon Rapids. Honorable mentions were the 10U Boys Ninja Strikers and the 12U Girls Cruella’s Crew. 

Thank you to all the teams that played in Kick or Treat and enriched the National Sports Center’s Halloween spirit. There’s nothing better than watching teams play the sports they love in exciting new uniforms. From the 9/10U age group to high schoolers, it was truly a pleasure to watch you on the turf. We’re already looking forward to next year!
