USA Cup hits the road for North Carolina and Texas

As the largest youth soccer tournament in the United States and a hub of Olympic style festivities, the Target USA Cup has never been a small-town occasion. Out of the 65 teams that competed in the tournament’s 1985 debut, six came from out-of-state and eleven were international. Since then, the USA Cup has annually outperformed itself, consistently drawing in more than 1,000 teams each summer. 

True to the tournament’s growth mindset, the USA Cup is hitting the road in 2022 to host two qualifying events in Round Rock, Texas and Efland, North Carolina. The qualifiers will broaden USA Cup’s horizons to teams from around the country and provide a chance to take part in the Target USA Cup Experience. The champions of each division will win free entry to play in Minnesota next July.
