Target USA Cup is back in action today at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minnesota after welcoming more teams on Monday for the week long tournament. Over 1,000 teams have travelled from all across the world to participate in Target USA Cup, and so far the action has not disappointed. Throughout the course of the tournament, we are introducing some of the teams, players, referees, staff, and fans that make this event happen. Kolding Q – Girls U16 Team
Making their first appearance as a team in Target USA Cup is Kolding Q. These girls traveled almost 12 hours from Denmark to be here. Everyone is excited to be a part of the tournament and are looking forward to playing against other international teams and bonding together.
Alec Schires, Joey Bilotti, Payton Wille, and Charlie Themanson – Members of AFC Union U13 Team
Alex, Payton, and Charlie are excited to be at Target USA Cup for the second time with first time participant Joey. They travelled with their team from Kenosha, Wisconsin for the week tournament. They’re are excited to participate in all the fun activities around campus when they are not playing soccer.
Tobi Plourde, Milani Diaz, Olivia Pettey – Members of Hudson SA U13 Team
Tobi, Milani, and Olivia also travelled from Hudson, Wisconsin for their first Target USA Cup. All are excited to be apart of a large tournament where they can meet teams from around the world. They are also looking forward to playing against other teams that they normally do not play
