After consideration of recommendations made by the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission (MASC), the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners selected eight facility projects and 19 small equipment requests to receive grant funding from the 2021 fall installment of the Hennepin Youth Sports Program (HYSP).
Funded by the 0.15% sales tax surcharge in Hennepin County, the program awards funds to Hennepin County municipalities, park districts and schools to create, expand or improve recreational facilities and to purchase new equipment.
