Until then, we have a new group of teams, players, referees, staff, and fans that make this event happen. Meet our 2019 Faces at the Cup for Friday, July 19, 2019.
August and Olivia Brooks – Lakes United U10 participant and fan
August and his sister Olivia join us for the second time from Forest Lake, Minnesota. This is August’s first year participating and Olivia enjoys the experience of cheering for him. They also enjoy all of the activities around the tournament and being able to trade pins with other teams.
Madyson Schreifels, Taylor Schreifels, and Madeline Wolter – Blaine U10 and U13 team participants
These three girls span two different teams from the local city of Blaine, Minnesota. Madyson Schreifels is on one of three U13 Blaine Soccer Club teams in the tournament while Taylor Schreifels and Madeline Wolter are both on Blaine’s U10 team. All three have been around Target USA Cup for several years and enjoy the tournament every year. Their favorite part of Target USA Cup has been the Opening Ceremonies and getting to interact with all the other teams.
Chevrolet SCool Games – Boys U12 Team
This team travelled from Mexico after receiving a sponsorship to come. It’s their first time as a team at Target USA Cup, but their coach is a second generation member after coming to the tournament himself as a participant long ago. So far the Chevrolet SCool Games team has enjoyed the experience and being able to grow as a team together. Their favorite thing has been Opening Ceremonies and experiencing the size of the crowd that came to welcome the teams to Target USA Cup.
