“My goal is to become a professional golfer. I really like golf also because my whole family plays golf, and I really enjoy it because it’s just what I love, and it’s what I’m really good at, and it just kind of lets me open myself up.”
“When I first started golf, I just wanted to try something different and just kind of do some stuff different. I wanted to try stuff because I wasn’t really in any sports at the time, and golf kind of called out to me because my whole family plays. It’s kind of a tradition, and it’s really great to play.”
“Being with my family maybe, just smiling. Having fun going golfing with my grandpa. Maybe going out to eat afterwards is really fun, and even in tournaments when it’s a bit of a struggle. When I’m in there and in the bunker, or I’m not having good shots, you just gotta believe in yourself and think about all the good things that are gonna happen afterwards.”
“All you have to do is breathe and be calm, don’t cry. Just calm yourself down. Think of all the good things that are gonna happen, and don’t think about losing. Don’t think about anything bad that’s gonna happen.”
“She always smiles, and she’s a lot of fun and also because if you’re like a beginner golfer you get a lot of stuff. And she also teaches you that it doesn’t matter how tall or short you are to play golf. She teaches you to keep practicing, and you’ll get better.”
“Yeah, I do think that girls golf should be a little bit bigger, but I feel like boys golf is a little bit more fun to watch because boys smile a little bit more, and I feel like girls should just smile a bit more and have more fun with it.”
