Minnesota baseball legend Joe Mauer put on hockey skates for the Hendrickson Foundation Hockey Festival in February at the Super Rink on the NSC campus. While Mauer mentioned that he was OK with his hockey abilities during the celebrity game, he said he isn’t looking into a future within the sport of hockey.
