Goons, minions and goblins played at the National Sports Center’s Indoor Sports Hall Oct. 20-25 for the NSC’s annual Kick-or-Treat Halloween Soccer Tournament. 86 teams participated in the tournament.
Teams were encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and participate in a costume contest to receive a team package from Urban Air Adventure Park Coon Rapids. The trampoline park provides physical, social and mental challenges that tie in the STEM curriculum and count toward physical education minutes required by most school districts.
Kick-or-Treat allowed players to get a group of friends or club team together to compete in a soccer tournament where creativity for dressing up like their favorite movie character or superhero was awarded.
